T. Trammell from Woodland, CA, entrusted me with a project to create a 3D dress for premium digital ads and augmented reality. To address the challenge of securely tying the dress in the back, I innovatively pinned a garment piece, leveraging tools like Marvelous Designer, Cinema 4D, Mixamo, and Redshift.

I tackled the tying problem by cleverly securing a knot with a pinned garment piece. I meticulously created the dress using Marvelous Designer, Cinema 4D, Mixamo, and Redshift. The outcome was an impressive animated video designed for social media, highlighting Lauren's Boutique Clothing Animation 01. Additionally, I shared the 3D files to pave the path for upcoming augmented reality projects, aiming for a smooth integration of fashion and technology.

Animation Process

To address the challenge of securely tying the back of the dress, I used Marvelous Designer to simulate the fabric and pin a garment piece for an accurate, realistic knot. The garment was then brought into Cinema 4D for further refinement and rigged in Mixamo to animate the movement seamlessly. Redshift was employed to render the final product, ensuring high-quality visuals for premium digital ads. By combining these tools, I crafted an eye-catching 3D animation that perfectly aligned with the client’s goals, ready for both current digital ads and future AR applications.
