Description

The DC Lottery needed an engaging out-of-home (OOH) campaign to promote their Monopoly-themed Scratchers. The challenge was to create motion graphics and static assets that seamlessly blended the iconic Monopoly brand with local DC imagery, while ensuring the designs remained clear, visually captivating, and true to both brands' identities. The assets had to be optimized for various formats and sizes, adhering to strict guidelines and maintaining brand visibility.
As Art Director, I developed a series of dynamic 15-second motion graphics and static designs for the Monopoly-themed Scratchers campaign, merging classic Monopoly elements with local DC imagery. The animations featured iconic Monopoly tokens such as the car, top hat, and house, set against a backdrop of Washington, D.C. landmarks, while maintaining the traditional look and feel of the game. The assets adhered to all technical specs, ensuring proportions, color contrast, and clarity across formats from 1080x1920 MP4s to large 1440x270 spectacular displays. This mix of Monopoly nostalgia with a DC twist created an engaging and localized visual experience, capturing the attention of both in-store and outdoor audiences.
